The Forbes article below reminds me of why I moved to Atlanta from Nashville  20 years ago. After graduating from Georgia State University. I was convinced there was something different about progressive’s in Atlanta. While studying social economics, I became educated on political, social & financial influence and the three have strong influential patterns in real estate. Vernon Winfrey, Oprah Winfrey‘s father, my childhood mentor was the city councilman in the neighborhood that I grew up in for more than a decade. I attribute his mentorship to the beginning of my interest in social economics so it’s no surprise that I purchased my first home in Atlanta at the ripe old age of 21. Real estate for me isn’t just about selling or managing but about helping families & businesses build a valuable legacy in real estate.
